   Snooker: Ton Up Match Bets

Bet Overview

This is a straight supremacy match bet between two players throughout a tournament based on their Ton Ups (the aggregate of all their breaks over 100 e.g. 133 = 33 etc).

Example

In the Scottish Open, Peter Ebdon and Paul Hunter were paired together in a ton up match bet. We made Ebdon the favourite to score higher century breaks by between 0 - 20 points. If you agreed with us but felt Ebdon could go further in the competition meaning he has more chance of scoring centuries, you would go high (buy) at 20. Ebdon reached the quarter-finals while Hunter only made it to the 2nd Round, Hunter still scored more ton ups though. Ebdon scored two centuries: 114 and 117 (Ton up total=31). Hunter scored three centuries: 116, 119, and 123 (Ton up total=58). The result (make up) was 27 difference in Hunters favour, so you would have lost: (27 + 20 (the price you bought at)) x your stake = 47 x £2 = -£94
